DollarCamp Sessions!!! July 28-29th 7pm-9pm Furman University

Can we remove 2020 from the calendar?  Has Congress passed that yet?  Because it has been TWO YEARS since I held my last DollarCamp session and this is one aspect (among many others) that I absolutely love conducting!

If you are not familiar, DollarCamp is a fun, immersive and most importantly, educational program designed originally for Cosmetology Schools/ Programs but now tweaked to cater to students of all studies and programs.

It is a program that discusses not only Educational Debt, but the pitfalls of credit cards, high interest rates and predatory lenders.  There is a tremendous amount of interaction so be prepared to draw, color, roleplay and speak in front of the group!! This is certainly not for the shy ones! 

Normally I encourage students to bring a friend or relative, but due to the restricted seating capacity I am asking students attend on their own, and will be paired off or split into groups upon arrival.  Its a great opportunity to meet new folks!  And as always, A+ ALWAYS provides the best snacks. (Maybe even a door prize?!)

Masks are not mandatory but clearly may be work at the students discretion if not fully vaccinated, so please do keep that in mind.  Otherwise the current CDC Protocols will remain in place.

There are 12 available spots each night, Wednesday July 28 and Thursday July 29 from 7-9pm.  Heads up, Thursdays generally fill up quicker!  Call or email me to RSVP as soon as possible as this was set up much later than normal.  (Maybe one day we'll all get back on a normal schedule, right?  Right?? Anyone??)

The sessions will be held at Furman University's ROTC Paladin Battalion Office at 3300 Poinsett Highway, Greenville, SC 29613. I'd like to thank the good folks with the Paladin Battalion for partnering and allowing use of their classroom.  See you there!
