George M. and Margaret E. Bullinger Memorial Scholarship Award Winner Announced

It is with tremendous humility and honor that I have selected a recipient for this year's George M. and Margaret E. Bullinger Memorial Scholarship to Mr. Thomas M. Cornicelli, Jr. of West Warwick (RI) High School.

Thomas was Salutatorian of his 2019 Graduating Class and will be attending Brown University in Providence, RI in September. Eldest son of Mr. Thomas and Jessica Cornicelli, Thomas Jr. was a standout student in academic achievement, extracurricular and community awareness and participation.

Thomas was one of my "long distance" clients as I worked thoroughly over the phone, email, text and Join.me with his father.  I presented Thomas with an application and required Essay and he presented me in turn with a very well thought-out piece on the future of Federal and State Financial Aid, and the implications it may present to the choices students/families may be forced into making at the hands of policymakers.

Congratulations, Thomas!  We wish you all the best at Brown and it was my pleasure working with you and your Family!

The George M. and Margaret E. Bullinger Memorial Scholarship was presented to my group 2 years ago as a single $1000 annual award which students can apply to the cost of education-related expenses as they deem fit.
