What many Administrators fail to understand, and I have been guilty of it myself in the past, is that we speak our own language. We speak in acronyms, and an industry-specific vernacular. It is something that I have worked on, and trained others to follow suit.
If I walked into NASA and they started explaining the International Space Station in their own words, I'd walk out more confused than when I came in. Absolutely no different for these students!
